Who We are Supporting
Pluk Boterbloem CSA is Toni's happy place in Amsterdam. Whenever things are too stressful, going to harvest at Pluk will make any day better.
It is important to us that the first year, 5% of our revenue (06/07/26-06/07/27) from Toni's Tonics goes to Pluk, as Pluk was the farm that taught us about Cola Kruid.
So, without Pluk, Toni's Tonics would have never happened.
Here is a description of Pluk! written by themselves;
'Pluk! Boterbloem is a self-harvest community farm in the Lutkemeerpolder (Amsterdam West).
For us, it's all about connection: with the land, with food, and with people. We grow organic vegetables, herbs, and flowers according to the seasons, without artificial methods, and with a focus on soil health and biodiversity.
We work according to the CSA (community supported agriculture) model, and our harvest members can come and harvest weekly from May to November. Through our way of working, we want to offer an alternative to the current food system and work towards a more sustainable and just way of growing food.'
The farmers are amazing, the activists trying to save the soil from big industrial warehouses are incredible, and the vegetables they grow are absolutely delicious! So if you are in Amsterdam, why not go volunteer there for a day and get your hands dirty and meet the wonderful members?
